Foundations – Village

Ages 0 – 18 months

 Baby’s Best Start!

Your baby’s brain lights up with every new experience, every new sound and new face to study! At Kindermusik Village in our safe and nurturing classes they’ll be stimulated by the musical patterns and rhythms, the steady beat of shaking an instrument and moving in so many ways with you as you dance gleefully together. The giggles and smiles and looks of pure delight will fill your heart and theirs. Your baby will excitedly respond to the sensory rich environment created in each class. You and your baby will love learning new words, singing new songs and creating special I Love You moments!

You’ll be helping to strengthen their neural connections and building social connections for both you and you baby as you’re supported by our community of parents and educators. We’ll educate you about how each class activity is designed to enhance your child’s complete development and you’ll gain new insights into your baby’s development as you nurture their natural love of music as you learn what to watch for at every stage. And you’ll receive beautiful home materials in your Kindermusik Kit for at home learning that includes a beautiful board book, a special musical instrument and all class music on a CD and downloaded to your personalized Kindermusik app! 

Level 2 – Our Time

Ages 18 months – 3 years

Tuned in to Toddlers!

When you come in the door with your toddler at Kindermusik Our Time you will marvel at the warm and playful environment that welcomes you and your little one to class!  We will meet your toddler where they are and  encourage you and them to uncover an engaging and magical musical world! It’s where they will develop their ability to focus through instrument play, listening sequences, dancing and movement, finger plays and singing. They will hear, see and feel the music as they try new ways to play instruments, use their voice and engage with you in a sensory rich environment.

You’ll create special memories and be delighted as your child’s singing voice emerges, their language blossoms and creative play develops. You’ll see how their ability to memorize, sequence and predict patterns will be strengthened and their interactions with others will grow. Your teacher will share what’s behind the magic of what happens in class and how this intentional musical learning promotes your little one’s growth and development! Your beautiful set of home materials includes a special instrument, two beautiful story books, all the music for class on CDs and your personalized Kindermusik app and a family activity book for continuing with the magic at home. 

Level 3 – Kindermusik Imagine That!

Ages 3-4 years

Preschool Prep!

Kindermusik Imagine That takes your child on a magical, musical journey of discovery and exploration! A journey that nurtures your child’s emerging imagination, creativity and individuality. Your child enters a world of wonder to explore and discover their wonderful, unique self through the pretend-play activities integrated with music where they create, explore and contribute to the imaginative activities. They are listened to, acknowledged and encouraged to express their own ideas and imagination!

Singing simple melodies in the perfect range for young voices, engaging in call and response activities, and contributing to story telling will fill your child’s heart with the love and joy of music making. They are learning to take turns, play instruments to the beat of the music and develop ensemble skills while playing instruments with others. Your child won’t be able to wait to play with their own set of Kindermusik materials that include a special backpack to carry to class, their own musical instruments, 2 beautiful story books, the class music on CD and downloaded to your personalized Kindermusik app and a week by week Family Guide with a multitude of home activities for you to explore together. 

* Your child will beam with excitement as you come in the door to join them for the last 10-15 minutes of class and share in their new discoveries! Your child’s teacher will share with you the magic of what happened in class, how you can keep the learning happening at home and how this musical learning impacts your child’s growth and development. 

Level 4 – Kindermusik for the Young Child

Ages 5-6 years

Blooming with Music!

Kindermusik for the Young Child is our pressure-free, developmental transition to musically succeed before taking on more formal instruction. In Young Child your capable and creative child will soar with the opportunity to explore voice development, rhythm, notation, musical symbols and authentic pre-keyboard, string and woodwind instruments. They will develop a confident, joyful voice for singing and speaking as well as essential building blocks for a future of learning. From learning to read and write the language of music, to exploring the sounds and workings of the instruments of the orchestra, to the many styles of music, famous composers, and more music from many countries and cultures, your child will be immersed in a rich, hands on learning environment that instills a joyful, lifelong love of music.

They will develop highly focused listening skills and the ability to play in an ensemble of others and create music together. Young Child broadens and deepens your child’s foundation in music and helps you and your child recognize special interests and skills for future formal music instruction. Your child will receive a beautiful set of home materials at each stage of Young Child that will include a glockenspiel, a two-string dulcimer and a recorder as well as weekly games, activity pages and manipulatives that they will love to share with you as they continue learning with you at home, all the music on CDs and in your personalized Kindermusik app as well as weekly parent information cards to help you fully engage with them at home.

* You will love joining your child each week for the last 15 minutes of class and enjoy playing the musical games, hearing from your child’s teacher about the magic behind the delightful musical learning and sharing in their excitement as they grow and develop not only their musical skills, but life skills as well.
